The World Folklore Photographers Association (WFPA) was officially established at 1 p.m. on Sep. 16th, 2009 in the White Palace Hotel in the Panyu District, Guangzhou City. Folklore photographers from all over the world have all witnessed this important moment of this great event. As early as September, 1999, folklore photographers approved the constitution of WFPA in Paris and the 1st World Folklore Photographic Contest was held there. Not until August 11th, 2009, did WFPA registered in Toronto, Canada. |
