The World Folklore Photographers Association(WFPA) was registered in Toronto, Ontario Province, Canada on Aug. 11^th, 2009. With the support of UNESCO since 1999, it totally took us 10 years to make preparations. It is a global professional organization of folklore photographers, the goal of which is, in the scope of the world, to enhance cultural heritages (especially the intangible cultural heritages) conservation awareness, to record, spread and share multi-culture and to strengthen the understanding and communication of human being so as to do contributions to the world peace and prosperity.
