The “Outstanding Social Organization” award authorized by the ministry of culture of the People’s Republic of China was granted to CFPA on January 20th, 2010. Mr. Shen Che, the president of CFPA, on behalf of 40,000 members received the medal from the deputy minister Mr. Ouyang Jian. There are only 4 social organizations in China was honored the prize: the Social and Cultural Development Foundation, China Entertainment Technology Association, China Chorus Association and China Folklore Photographic Association.

The grand commendation congress was held at multi-function room of ministry of culture. Minister Mr. Cai Wu and other related officials from the ministry of culture and civil affairs attended the meeting. About 150 representatives of 109 organizations directed by ministry of culture are among participants at the conference.
