HPA2011 The Sun Buddha Day of Muya Zang

Muya Tibetan people hold Sun Buddha Day on each November 15 in lunar calendar. On this day, after one year hard work, all the villagers gather in front of the “East Basile” (Tangkar) statue to celebrate harvest, pray for good weather and good harvest next year.
